Q&A with Guy Salazar

1. Who is your favorite fighter and why?
In MMA its Wand but of all time its Mike Tyson. I love the aggression.

2. What is your favorite food?
I can eat tacos every day.

3. Do you have any hobby’s? What are they?
I like to draw and make money. Time with the family is always good.

4. What do you think of the judging in MMA today?
I would like there to be MMA judges that favor one art. Finish the fight and it won’t be a problem.

5. Ring or Cage? Why?
Ring for sure. I feel its easier to corner people. Just sucks falling threw the ropes.

6. What do you feel are your strengths in a fight?
Being comfortable anywhere, and my left hook.

7. MMA in the Olympics, what are your thoughts?
Would be nice . don’t see it happening anytime soon

8. What’s your music to train too?
Something fast I like OI punk and rock and roll.

9. What is the best quality a fighter must have?
Stay grounded and true to yourself.

10. Who is the P4P best?
Fedor. Brock will be soon if he stays on track.

11. Favorite Org. and why?
PRIDE FC. I miss them. MMA at its best for sure.

12. What’s the best advice you have heard?
Tomorrows victory’s are won in today’s training.

13. Best advice you can give?
Your goals should be hard to reach or what’s the point in striving for them.

14. What got you into fighting?
My dad always liked boxing and I started watching Pride on line and got hooked.

15. Any plans for the near future?
FIGHT and fight often and when I’m not fighting I’ll be training.
