(During his entrance at Elimination Chamber PPV the pyro engulfed Undertaker when it went off too early) Regarding the whole deal, it's now considered very lucky things didn't turn out worse for Undertaker, who worked the match in tremendous pain and refused to shorten the match. The sleeve of his jacket and a part of his had melted when the pyro guy shot off the flames early, right where he was standing. -Japanese women wrestlers Ayumi Kurhara, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Misaki Ohata and Tomoko Nakagawa will be appearing on Shimmer and Jersey All Pro Wrestling matches in April, working 4/10 and 4/11 in Berwyn, IL at the Shimmer DVD tapings and the 4/17 Jersey All Pro Wrestling show in Jersey City at the Golden Door Charter School. -Blue Demon Jr. vs. Adam Pearce vs. Phil Shatter for the NWA title headlines a 3/14 show in Charlotte for NWA New Beginnings -WWE Hall of Fame New Inductee Wendi Richter, will be inducted by Roddy Piper -It's not final, but it appears Steve Austin may be the final guest host. The original idea was to end the guest host thing at WrestleMania, but then they were talk of extending it. For now, Austin is the last guest host listed, although one source said with TNA moving to Monday nights WWE might decide to extend the guest host deal since some of the names could conceivably help boost ratings. -Joe Francosi, a former producer for UPW back when WWE was using them as somewhat of a developmental territory, was hired to be a part of WWE creative. I believe he'll be starting near the bottom on the trial basis that we wrote about in last week's newsletter. He's the guy behind the comedy tour that Mick Foley and Colt Cabana have been doing of late. WWE is in the midst of finding a place for him to live in New York. -Shad Gaspard of Cryme Tyme will play the lead heel in the new Conan the Barbarian movie. For years the rumors were that HHH was going to get the lead role but that never came to fruition. -Chris Jericho tweeted that Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett will end up as stars, and made fun of Darren Young's hair -David Otunga, (Finance’ to Jennifer Hudson) who debuted on NXT last night, said he'd like to marry Jennifer Hudson in a wrestling ring. He was asked about it, more than suggesting it, saying, "We could do that. I don't know if Jennifer would go for it, but I'd be up for it." -Jose Estrada, 28, an independent wrestler in Monterrey known as Black Diamond under a mask, and formerly Black Wolf, was arrested this past week for murder. The murder took place on 2/20 when the body of Jerome Angel Urbina Gutierrez, 59, was found wrapped in a blanket and they found Estrada’s fingerprints in the area. Urbina was a wrestling fan who went to the local shows and often sat in the front row. Apparently a woman wrestler or valet on the show had been Urbina’s boyfriend for ten years, and as part of the show, kissed Black Diamond on the mouth, and Urbina came after Diamond with a shovel. They had a fight and Estrada allegedly stabbed Urbina and escaped from the arena. -Mexico Perros Del Mal They have finally gotten a real TV deal, on a small cable channel called TVC. The first show had a minor league look to it, but they have some ambitious plans including promoting outdoor bullring shows in Mexicali on 4/30 and Tijuana on 5/1.
