The Wrestling Observer Reports:



-Former NWA heavyweight champion, Jack Brisco passed away on Monday. He just had triple by pass heart surgery a few weeks ago. He was 68.


-Jesse Hernandez will be promoting a Louie Spicolli Memorial show on 2/19 as a benefit for the Red Cross fund for Haiti earthquake victims with donations going in Spicolli's name at the American Sports University in San Bernardino


-Bret Hart after Raw went out with TNA personnel in Nashville. Jeremy Borash put up a photo on his twitter account.



-The Half Pint Brawlers midget wrestling reality show on Spike will debut in June with two half hour episodes that will air back-to-back on a date not yet announced. There will be six episodes in total. The show is based around the troupe featuring Puppet the Psycho Dwarf, who appeared frequently in TNA during the early days of the promotion.



-ROH is adding slots for a training seminar and tryout camp put together by Jim Cornette on 3/7. It's open to pro wrestlers with at least one year experience at http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=3192



-The next Tijuana show is Tonight at Auditorio Municipal with a cage match with the loser getting his head shaved or unmasking with Alebrije, Arandu, Blue Demon Jr. , L.A. Park , Mascara Sagrada Camaleon de Oro and Rubi Gardenia



-Pro Wrestling Revolution on Saturday night in San Francisco before 500 fans: Capital Calico over Billy Blade and Dylan Drake, Polyester Express b Weapons of Masked Destruction, Mr. Wrestling IV b Vinny Massaro, Ulysses & Amante & Chupacabra b Bryan Cage & Vaquero Fantasma & Rik Luxury, Lady Apache b Alissa Flash, Shocker & Strong Man b Derek Sanders & Oliver John



-On Tuesday nights ECW television show, Vince McMahon announced that the ECW brand and television show will cease to exist in three weeks, and would be replaced by a new show.
He offered no details other than it would be the next evolution in WWE pro wretling television. It is believed the show will be named WWE NXT, according to PWInsider.com




-Newly announced WWE guest hosts include Jewel & Ty Murray (the legendary bull rider, who will be promoting the World Cup of bull riding) on 2/22 in Indianapolis and magician Criss Angel on 3/8



-TNA will be offering the Against All Odds PPV on 2/14 on the Internet on their own web site at $14.95


-Al Snow and Les Thatcher will be doing seminars for CZW. Snow will have a seminar 2/26 to 2/28 at the Arena while Thatcher comes in 3/19 to 3/21. The seminars will be at the Arena in Philadelphia, open to both wrestlers in training and current wrestlers looking to improve. -ROH has filed suit against Ric Flair alleging he owes them over $40,000 and failed to live up to contractual obligations in his role as ROH ambassador. PWinsider reports that Flair was scheduled to make five ROH house show appearances for $10,000 per, and that he no-showed a Montreal event and never paid back the $10,000. He was also paid $35,000 for TV appearances and only ended up showing up for one taping.



-Today February 5th is a national holiday in Mexico and also the 26th anniversary of the death of El Santo, so it should be a huge weekend. A number of promotions are planning major things for that day and there might be a major announcement taking place about a future mega match for CMLL.


-TNA Scott D'Amore has once again decided to leave TNA effective immediately. D'Amore had been working as an agent, in particular handling the women's dvision. D'Amore's Border City Wrestling independent group is now merging with Blood, Sweat and Ears, a Toronto independent company, using the new name Maximum Pro Wrestling. The company is planning to run live shows, PPV shows, DVD releases and to develop a television property.



-The 3/1 date has been confirmed as the start of the new era of Monday Night Wars in pro wrestling.



-CMLL El Terrible & El Texano Jr. were suspended from Guadalajara for 60 days by the commission for fighting with a fan.


-AAA There is expecting to be a booking change with Dorian Roldan giving up a lot of the work. Vampiro is supposed to be back as part of a crew running the dressing room and attempting to teach discipline and professionalism.

Human Tornado is being talked with about coming in as a tag team with Jack Evans.

Teddy Hart has been suspended for 60 days


-Perros Del Mal had its most successful show to date on 1/31 in Mexico City, putting 5,000 fans into a 4,000-seat Sala de Armas for a show that included El Hijo del Santo.



-William Mueller (former WWE wrestler Trevor Murdoch, more recently Jethro Holliday in TNA) and wife Amanda are now running “T. Murdock’s Bar and Grill” in Eldon, MO. One of the items on the menu is the Harley Hamburger Steak, named after the usual order from his trainer, Harley Race.


-Kenta Kobashi underwent both right knee and right elbow surgery back on 1/6, and what was supposed to be a two-hour procedure lasted seven hours. There is no word when or if he’ll be able to return.


-Vader, 53, teams with son Jesse White, making his debut, on 4/29 in Tokyo or the Vader Time promotion. Jesse White was the most heavily recruited center in the country, but after signing with Oklahoma, where he’s set to graduate this year, he suffered back injury and couldn’t play.


-CHIKARA Pro set its all-time attendance record with 600 fans for the 1/31 show at the Arena in Philadelphia.


-Were told the issues between Awesome Kong and Bubba the Love Sponge seem to be resolved after a meeting took place with her, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff reports Prowrestling.net. Kong had initially asked for her release and refused to work the company's UK tour despite being advertised. While they may have not granted her a release, were told there are still some financial issues between Kong and the company. According to reports, Kong was said to be touchy when she noticed how much the company was spending on newcomers and how they couldn't afford to give talent already on the roster raises, especially the TNA Knockouts.
